Snow has hit the West Coast of the United States again, after a long high pressure system and things appear to be moving east, so everyone should love the new POW this week! There is quite a bit coming up in the next few weeks in terms of Contests, so we want to encourage people to participate in those!

New England Telemark presents the Maine Telemark festival February 25& 26. Saturday will be the Slopestyle event, where athletes from the East and West Coast will throw down to see who takes home the biggest prize purse of any Freeheel Competition. FHL Rider JOONAS KARHUMAA reports from Europe: Ciao! Ok, it's been quite busy the last two weeks. I was doing the rookies quest for xtreme verbier, as the only tellier. SLUG MAGAZINE in SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH put on their annual Junk show at Brighton this past week. Although there were no Telemark skiers in this particular event, Freeheel skiers are encouraged to come and compete along with the rest of the skiers. Karhu Athlete Josh Madsen was a local participant in his first years of competing and said “These competitions are a great environment to practice in a low stress situation.
